Wildlife Wise

Get excited about Logan’s native wildlife and celebrate World Wildlife Day as you get the chance to meet native animals and learn more from wildlife experts!

Adults will learn more about local wildlife and ways to help them on your property, including practical tips to make your backyards more wildlife friendly. You’ll also get the opportunity to find out how you can help local organisations rescue and care for our wildlife, as well as ask the Council’s environment officers any questions.

Kids will get up close with Logan’s RSPCA Animal Ambulance and native wildlife from Geckoes. They’ll discover the local habitats wildlife live in, what they need to survive and how to spot them when adventuring in Logan’s natural areas.

Registration required spaces are limited.

Important information before you register:

• Suitable for ages 5 years and over with an accompanying adult.
• Suitable for individuals and families.
• The adult session is recommended for people aged 13 years and over.
• Event is FREE but bookings are required – all adults and children must have a ticket for this event.

This event is delivered by Logan City Council in conjunction with RSPCA QLD, BirdLife Southern QLD, Geckoes Wildlife and Wildlife Preservation Society of QLD as part of the City of Logan’s Environmental Events and Activities Program.
