Join Wildlife Queensland Fraser Coast Branch for our July Nature Walk to Fairlies Knob, the third gazetted National Park in Queensland and the third highest mountain (323m) in the Fraser Coast Region.
The walk will take in remnant rainforest, dry eucalypt forest and sections of Hoop Pine plantation. Expect to see rare plants and uncommon birds. The last time we visited Fairlies Knob the birds recorded included large-billed scrubwren, spectacled monarch, rose robin, golden whistler and wedge-tailed eagle.
