Join the Wildlife Queensland Faunawatch team for our July nature walk at Maroochy Wetlands, Bli Bli.
The Bli Bli wetlands have great floristic diversity with dry eucalypt, melaleuca and casuarina forests with salt marsh and mangroves on the banks of the Maroochy River. This results in a large variety of fauna at the site and a great opportunity to see and hear a range of species. It is a perfect time to walk through the reserve utilising the upgraded boardwalk so let’s see what we can find.
Meeting Point: Follow the signs to the Wetlands with parking at the end of Sports Rd, Bli Bli.
Faunawatch walks are held on the fourth Monday of most months. Meet at 8.00 am. View the latest Faunawatch Newsletter for outing dates and information or contact: sunshine@wildlife.org.au.
