World Wetlands Day Celebration

Join a special World Wetlands Day Celebration at GJ Walter Park, Cleveland and meet some of our Wildlife Queensland Bayside Branch members there.

Themed “Our Bay – Our Flyways”, you’ll see why this area must be protected for migratory shorebirds flying from the Arctic every year.

Bring your family and friends for a morning of free fun on the shores of Moreton Bay at Toondah Harbour. Enjoy live music, a sausage sizzle, community displays and informative speakers. View shorebirds through powerful telescopes …and help paint a ‘flock’ of hundreds of shorebirds for a community art project.

You can also say hello to local Toondah koalas in their natural habitat.
