Wildlife Queensland Fraser Coast Backyard Bioblitz — Spring 2023

Discover the amazing plants and animals in the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay region during the Wildlife Queensland Fraser Coast Spring Backyard Bioblitz on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 2023.

Participating is easy:

• pick a location in your backyard or anywhere you like within the local government regions of Fraser Coast, Gympie and Bundaberg on 14 or 15 October (night and day)
• take photographs of any native fungi, plants, insects, birds and animals
• upload your pictures to the iNaturalist Australia website OR if you can hear your critter, but not see it, a recording, using Voice Memo or equivalent will do just fine!

Our seasonal Fraser Coast Backyard Bioblitzes are a great way to contribute useful data for science and conservation and find out about the plants and critters that we share our region with.
