Wildlife Queensland Fraser Coast Backyard Bioblitz — Autumn 2024

Discover the amazing plants and animals in the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay region during the Wildlife Queensland Fraser Coast Autumn Backyard Bioblitz on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April 2024. 

Participating is easy:

• pick a location in your backyard or anywhere you like within the local government regions of Fraser Coast, Gympie and Bundaberg on 13 or 14 April (night and day)
• take photographs of any native fungi, plants, insects, birds and animals
• upload your pictures to the iNaturalist Australia project page OR if you can hear your critter, but not see it, a recording, using Voice Memo or equivalent will do just fine!

Our seasonal Fraser Coast Backyard Bioblitzes are a great way to contribute useful data for science and conservation and find out about the plants and critters that we share our region with.
