As the curtain falls on another financial year, we would like to extend a big thank you for your incredible support in helping to protect and conserve Queensland’s precious wildlife.
Through our End of Financial Year appeal, we set an ambitious goal of $60,000 to secure the resources necessary to continue our vital conservation work. Because of your generosity, we reached an incredible milestone of 50% of our target …
… an astounding $30,000!
Thanks to generous donations from over 160 supporters, Wildlife Queensland can continue to safeguard native wildlife by:
- conducting field surveys to map species distribution and habitats
- engaging communities through events such as workshops, discovery days and webinars
- influencing the government to strengthen environmental laws and outcomes.
“On behalf of the entire team at Wildlife Queensland, I’d like to mention how grateful we are to all the donors,” says Wildlife Queensland’s Project Manager, Matt Cecil.
“Your contributions will help us provide resources needed to continue our conservation efforts for Queensland’s native wildlife, particularly threatened species.”
