Join Wildlife Queensland Bayside Branch for their August meeting with guest presenter, wildlife photographer Erica Siegel.

About Erica:

In February 2009, Erica discovered the blue-banded bee in her garden, sparking a passion that has lasted for 15 years. By 2010, the Australian Native Bee Research Centre was using her photos and videos, leading to requests from various organisations, groups and individuals. In 2016, Erica showcased her native bee photos at the Redland Museum in collaboration with the Bee Keepers Association and delivered her first talk on native bees. In 2018, she held an exhibition at RPAC titled “Of Birds and Bees – A Journey of Discovery.”

Beyond photography, Erica enjoys painting birds, primarily in watercolour, and has exhibited her work at local art centres, with the Wildlife Artist Society Qld, and at Wynnum Manly Arts. She also has a stall at the Bi-Monthly Shire Clerk’s Cottage Market in Wynnum, where she sells artworks and framed bird photos.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear from an expert and see some stunning photographs. Visit Erica’s website for more information.
