Wildlife Restoration Projects talk

Andrew’s “love of nature” and attending a Wildlife Queensland Bayside Branch meeting in 1994 inspired him to embark on an
incredibly interesting career working in environmental management.

Andrew’s wide-ranging talk will cover roles he held with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service which included, studying quolls, being part of the Northern Hairy-Nosed Wombat and Bridled Nailtail Wallaby recovery projects and now with Birdlife Australia’s Powerful Owl Project.

Along with his passion for our natural environment, Andrew has a wealth of experience in threatened species population management, natural resource and landscape management, fire ecology, restoration ecology and feral species management.

This will be an inspiring talk, not to be missed. General Public are welcome. Entry by gold coin donation.
