Clean Up Australia Day

Clean Up Australia Day, Australia’s largest community-based environmental event, is on Sunday 5 March 2023. This fantastic initiative has had an enormous impact over the past 12 months, with nearly 950,000 volunteers spending over 1.8 million hours clearing more than 12,000 sites.

If you’d like to ‘Step Up to Clean Up,’ some of our Wildlife Queensland branches are running clean-up events on 5 March:

• Wildlife Queensland Bayside Branch, 8:00-11:00 am, Sel Outridge Park, Redland Bay. Register here.

Once you sign up you’ll receive a clean-up kit which may consist of rubbish bags, gloves, instructions, first aid kit, hi-vis vest and a sharps container depending on your volunteer numbers, as well as information and promotional materials.
