Gliders like Gizmo desperately need your help!

The greater glider, the largest gliding marsupial in the world, is now officially endangered in Queensland.

Urban sprawl has confined greater gliders, hindering breeding and endangering genetic diversity. Forced to the ground in search of new homes, they become more susceptible to predation and injury.

Together, we can save our greater gliders from extinction, but only if we take action now!

Your donation will directly support our new Greater Glider project, collecting data on greater glider habitat preferences and movement patterns in Queensland to enable proactive conservation efforts against habitat threats.

  • $50 will help fund VHF collars to track greater gliders.
  • $100 will help purchase a greater glider nest box (home).
  • $250 will help buy data loggers to measure temperature and humidity inside nests.
  • $1000 will pay for a specialised tree climber plus an animal handler to catch and collar gliders.

Donate today to safeguard Queensland’s endangered greater gliders from the threats of urban expansion, ensuring their presence in our forests for future generations.

All donations of $2 or more are 100% tax-deductible in Australia.
