Last month, Wildlife Queensland reached out to our most passionate supporters, asking you to consider joining our Wildlife Protector monthly giving program. The response was heartening, and we want to extend our deepest thanks to all who have already committed to safeguarding Queensland’s threatened species. Your recurring donations are more than just a financial contribution—they are a lifeline for the wildlife we all cherish.

Immediate intervention needed for Queensland wildlife

In Queensland alone, over 500 species are listed as threatened, including the greater glider, the southern cassowary, and the northern quoll. Without immediate intervention, these iconic creatures may disappear forever, and with them, the irreplaceable ecosystems they support. At Wildlife Queensland, we refuse to stand by while their habitats are destroyed and their populations dwindle. But we cannot do it alone, and that’s where you make the difference.

Building long-term solutions

Did you know that even a modest monthly donation, when combined with the contributions of other supporters, creates an enormous impact over time? Your ongoing support allows us to plan long-term projects with confidence, such as our monitoring programs and key habitat restoration efforts. Monthly gifts mean we can move swiftly to protect and connect threatened wildlife populations, securing their future for generations to come.

For Wildlife Queensland, the benefits of recurring donations extend beyond their financial value. Monthly gifts reduce administrative costs, freeing up more resources to focus on our core mission—protecting wildlife. Automated donations are efficient and reliable and give us the stability we need to expand our efforts. Together, we are building a strong, united community of protectors committed to creating real, lasting change for Queensland’s wildlife.

Become a lifeline for threatened species

If you are interested, we urge you to join our Wildlife Protector program today. By making a monthly contribution, no matter the size, you are ensuring that we have the resources to continue protecting Queensland’s most vulnerable species. Together, we can make a difference.
