Philanthropy has been the backbone of Wildlife Queensland. As a registered not-for-profit, non-government organisation, we simply couldn’t survive without the generous contributions of time, effort, and money that come from our volunteers, members and supporters.

Bequests from dedicated conservationists and much-missed former members and friends of Wildlife Queensland continue to help us achieve our goal of being a strong, supportive voice for wildlife and running data-driven conservation projects for at-risk species across the state, including the spotted-tailed quoll, platypus, greater and yellow-bellied gliders, Richmond birdwing butterfly, echidnas, and our coastal mangroves and seagrasses.

Free your mind with a FREE Will

In these times especially, having an up-to-date Will is an important way to safeguard the future of your assets and protect your family. Yet over 70% of Australian adults don’t have a legally binding Will … that’s why we’ve partnered with Australia’s top-rated Will-writing platform, Gathered Here, to give wildlife-lovers the chance to write a professional Will completely free of charge while leaving a legacy for wildlife.

Working collaboratively with more than 50 charities, Gathered Here’s professional legal team is also able to assist with other end-of-life needs, such as funeral planning. For a limited time, they are also offering our supporters free and unlimited lifetime updates to their Wills.

Remember, your donation is our wildlife’s salvation

We know that your loved ones come first. However, once those you care about have been provided for, you may feel that you would also like to include a gift to Wildlife Queensland. Every gift left in a Will, no matter how large or small, will provide ongoing care and protection for vulnerable species – many with uncertain futures.

Without a Will, you risk losing your hard-earned assets and estate to government red tape – a great shame when we could use it to hold the government accountable and insist they do not ignore or minimise the plight of our native fauna and flora. Take the chance to write your free will today so you can continue to help us help them.
