Annual General Meeting and Southern Branches Meet-up

 

Come and support Wildlife Preservation Society Queensland for the Southern Branches Meet-up and Annual General Meeting on Saturday 11 September 2021.

There will be branch highlights, the AGM, awards, presentations, good food, plus a gentle wildlife walk. Please note that this is a Covid Safe Event that will follow the recommended safety measures on the day.

9:00 am: Arrive—Distribute meeting documents and reports
9:10 am: Welcome and housekeeping
9:35 am: AGM including society reports
10:45 am: Morning tea
11:00 am: Open forum for members and branches. Opportunity to discuss issues and how you see the society going forward.
12:00 pm: Lunch and awards
12:45 pm: Short presentation
1:15 pm: Gentle walk to view birds and mangroves
2:00 pm: WLFL AGM

Q. Are meals included? 

All meals will be supplied in accordance with what you nominate on your completed Registration form. Please ensure you advise us of any special dietary requirements when booking.

Q. What should I bring?

To participate in the walk please wear appropriate walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen. A jacket may be a good idea, as it can be cool at this time of year.

Q. Unable to attend but want to vote?

To vote by proxy, please download the proxy form and send it to Wildlife Queensland by 1 September 2021.
