Thank you to everyone who joined us on 17 February 2019 for our Batty Boat Cruise.

Baby bat

We got to meet an adorable 3-week-old orphaned baby bat on the cruise

What a beautiful afternoon and evening it was – superb weather, fascinating information about Brisbane and the bats that inhabit our city, a lovely, calm ride on MV Neptune down the beautiful Brisbane River and the amazing sight of bats flying out over the river at sunset.

Passengers got to meet an adorable three-week-old orphaned baby bat … complete with a dummy in her mouth and cuddling into her blankie – melt my heart! Kindly brought onboard and lovingly cared for by Bat Conservation & Rescue QLD.

Check out some pics from the cruise below.

Stay tuned for details on our next Batty Boat Cruise, coming soon!

Congratulations to our Batty Boat Cruise February Photo Competition winner …

We hope you enjoy your bat-tastic prize!
