Wildlife Queensland Fraser Coast Backyard Bioblitz — Autumn 2023

Discover the amazing plants and animals in the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay region during the Wildlife Queensland Fraser Coast Autumn Backyard Bioblitz, on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 April (day and night).

Participating is easy:

• pick a location in your backyard or anywhere you like within the local government regions of Fraser Coast, Gympie and Bundaberg on 8 or 9 April 2023 (night and day)
• take photographs of any native fungi, plants, insects, birds and animals
• upload your pictures to the iNaturalist Australia website OR if you can hear your critter, but not see it, a recording, using Voice Memo or equivalent will do just fine!

Our seasonal Fraser Coast Backyard Bioblitzes are a great way to contribute useful data for science and conservation and find out about the plants and critters that we share our region with.
