Join the Wildlife Queensland Faunawatch team for a walk at beautiful Kathleen McArthur Regional Park.
Named in honour of one of the founding members of Wildlife Queensland, this park serves as a vital sanctuary for the coastal vegetation that once thrived across the Sunshine Coast. It protects rare wallum heathland, woodlands and dune plant communities, providing a last refuge for the unique flora and fauna that depend on these ecosystems.
Meeting Point: Parking is at the corner of Coongarra Esplanade and Bareki St.
Faunawatch walks are held on the fourth Monday of most months. Meet at 8.00 am. View the latest Faunawatch Newsletter for outing dates and information or contact: sunshine@wildlife.org.au.
