Talking Cane Toads and Frogs

FreeRedland City Council’s Environment and Education Team in conjunction with Watergum are talking toads.
Talking Cane Toads and Frogs will cover:
- The history of cane toads
- How cane toads affect native frogs and other wildlife
- Frog identification
- The easiest way to differentiate between cane toads and local native frogs throughout their life stages.
Note: This activity is being held indoors in our theatrette/conference room.
This session will be followed by practical toad-catching evenings on Friday 20 January at Capalaba Regional Park and Saturday 21 January at Mt Cotton Community Park.
Bookings required for each event.
Please note: This is a family-friendly event and is suitable for children five years and over. Children must be supervised by their parent/guardian.
