The Great Southern BioBlitz is an ‘international period of intense biological survey by citizen scientists to record all the living species within local government areas across the Southern Hemisphere using the iNaturalist app.

It’s a great way to connect to nature and learn more about our unique plants and animals in a fun and interactive way while also contributing to science! We recommend using the obscure feature if you have found rare or threatened species to help protect their exact location or if submitting a sighting from private property.
