Activities include rehabilitating the Brook and adjacent habitats, assisting the return of native flora and fauna, conducting surveys including monitoring water quality, and delivering an environmental education program.

The Branch is represented by an Executive Committee who collaborate with residents, officials, schools and businesses in working towards a healthy and balanced local ecosystem.

Meetings

Five general meetings are held bimonthly each year, starting in February with the last meeting in October. They are held on the third Tuesday of the selected month, usually at Downfall Creek Bushland Centre, 815 Rode Road, McDowall.

The meeting usually begins informally with finger food and drinks from 7 pm. This is followed by branch and volunteer network business and a presentation on a selected topic between 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm.

Details of presentations are given on the web site a few weeks beforehand. All members and catchment network volunteers are welcome!
