Our current activities include: rehabilitation of Arkarra Lagoons, Fay Smith Wetlands Reserve, Aquatic Park, and Tooan Tooan Creek flying fox roost site; frog survey; school activities.

A 24-hour animal rescue hotline provides care for injured native wildlife by licensed volunteer carers. The Branch is also active in foreshore protection, tree planting, turtle monitoring and bird watching.

The Fraser Coast Branch has a Community Coastcare Grant to set up a bleach watch program. The Coral Bleachwatch program sets up teams of volunteers to monitor any coral bleaching events in teh Hervey Bay area as the weather heats up.

They also run an ongoing revegetation projects at Arkarra Lagoons in Dundowran and Fay Smith Wetlands in Maryborough.
